Why does Artsper apply penalties for sale cancellations?

In order to maintain the quality of our service and protect the interests of buyers and sellers, we apply financial penalties in the event of a sale cancellation due to the unavailability of works.

How are penalties applied?

  • First cancellation: No penalty, just a warning message.

  • New cancellation in the last 6 months: Penalty applied.

  • Recurrent cancellations (more than once in the last six months): Penalties multiplied by 1.5 apply.

Important: If the penalty is not paid, Artsper reserves the right to block access to the gallery's account or take actions on future payments. This may include withholding funds due for other transactions or suspending the service until full payment of the penalties.

How will I be informed of a penalty?

In the event of cancellation, you will receive an e-mail notification three days before the direct debit from your bank account.

How can I avoid penalties?

To avoid penalties, update your stock regularly to ensure availability. If you need any assistance, our team will be happy to help you.
