We frequently receive inquiries regarding what aspects of Upcart can be customized and what our support team is able to assist with directly. This article outlines the scope of support, identifies requests that fall outside of coverage, and provides guidance on where to obtain additional assistance.

Areas Supported by the Upcart Team

If an element does not display or function as intended out of the box, our team will provide support to correct the issue. Examples include:

  • Upsell images that appear stretched or compressed

  • Overlapping text or buttons

  • Layout issues that occur on specific screen sizes or devices

As a general principle, if the cart does not align with its default design or expected functionality, it is within the scope of support.

Areas Not Supported by the Upcart Team

If the cart is functioning as designed but modifications are desired to change its appearance or behavior, these requests are considered customizations and are not covered by support. Examples include:

  • Implementing one of our premade customization snippets

  • Moving, hiding, or restyling elements

  • Adding custom icons or additional text

  • Repositioning features within the cart
