UpCart's Customization Policy

Explains what types of customization are supported in UpCart, what falls outside of support, and how to get help with CSS or design changes.

We get a lot of questions about how customizable UpCart is, and what our team can help with directly. Here's what we support, and where we’ll guide you to outside tools or experts.


✅ What We Can Help With

If something doesn’t look the way it’s supposed to, we’ll step in and fix it. For example:

  • Upsell images that look stretched or squished

  • Text or buttons overlapping in a way they shouldn’t

  • Layout breaking on specific devices or screen sizes

The rule of thumb is:
How is it meant to look out of the box? If it doesn't look that way, it's likely something we can fix.


❌ What We Can’t Help With

If your cart does look the way it was designed to, but you want to change how it looks or behaves, that’s considered a customization and we don’t support those directly. For example:

  • Implementing any of our premade customizations

  • Moving elements around

  • Hiding or restyling parts of the cart

  • Adding custom text or icons
