Duplicate campaigns

Campaign duplication is an exceptionally time-saving feature, especially if you want to expand reach and run ads against new audiences. This functionality is particularly useful when needing to duplicate multiple campaigns simultaneously. Asapty empowers you to go beyond the original Apple Search Ads dashboard. Here you can duplicate any number of campaigns you need in bulk, including campaigns with different placements, and launch them right upon creation for faster and more efficient growth.

In Asapty, you can:

  • duplicate Search Result campaigns to create new Search Result campaigns.

  • duplicate a mixed set of campaigns across other placements (Today, Search Tab, Product Pages).

When do you need to duplicate Apple Search Ads campaigns?

Duplicating campaigns is faster than creating new ones from scratch. It's useful for testing different strategies by varying settings on copies. For example, choose the Broad match instead of Exact match. You can also set or vary your CPA (cost per acquisition) goal to get more control over your targets and spend. You can also create more campaigns for different audiences or seasonal promotions.

Campaign duplication for the new target countries

While duplicating campaigns for a new target country, we recommend avoiding creating campaigns with copypasted keywords only. Each country has a specific range of suggestions - the phrases recommended to use in the search. For example, if you copy the list of keywords for your US campaigns and duplicate it for Canada, you will miss the highly relevant search terms in French.

How to duplicate campaigns in Asapty

  1. Navigate to the Optimization dashboard.

2. Select one or multiple campaigns you want to duplicate:

  • For duplicating Search Result campaigns, you need to duplicate them on their own, not mixed with other campaign types.

  • Or select campaigns from across different ad placements (Today, Search tab, or Product Pages). You can choose a mix of placement types.

3. Tap the “Duplicate” icon.

4. Specify the number of copies.

5. Name your duplicates. The new campaigns will be auto-named and marked as copies. You can rename these campaigns as you need.

6. Choose your target country from the available list.

7. Specify your Daily Budget - the average amount you’re willing to spend per day on your campaigns.

8. Additionally, you can set the Max CPT Bid - the maximum amount you'll ever pay for a tap on your ad.

For Search result campaigns:

  • Choose the components of your current campaign to be copied into the new ones, including ad group keywords, campaign negative keywords, and custom ads settings.

  • Choose the keyword match type and set it to test a new strategy or maintain the current approach.

  • Specify the amount you’re willing to spend for a conversion in the CPA goal section.

For Today, Search Tab and Product Pages:

  • Choose one of the ad placements. You can choose a different ad placement for each duplicate campaign. This means each copy can have its own unique placement, differing from the original campaign. This allows you to tailor the placements according to your needs.
