The Search tool within AscendTMS provides an easy way of searching for information within your AscendTMS, a quick carrier vetting (AscendCVQ) tool and Broker Credit Checks.
The Search menu tab can be located within your AscendTMS main menu section.
Search for a Load, Location, Carrier or Customer within Your AscendTMS
Begin by typing the name of anything you want to find, e.g. a Location, Carrier or Customer name.
To locate a Load, enter your AscendTMS Load number or Load Reference Number entered within any Load Reference ID / Numbers field located within the Load Basics screen of any load.
FMCSA Carrier Search and Fraud Checks
This option provides a quick and easy way to vet any carrier you may want to do business with, along with the option to create a new Carrier or Customer profile
Carrier verification and fraud alert checks are available by searching by DOT, MC, MX, or FF numbers and selecting the "Carrier Verification" search result.
Tip: For MC, FF, and MX number searches, be sure to to type MC, FF, or MX before the number, with no spaces of dashes between the prefix and the number.
For example, enter MC227271 instead of MC-227271 or MC 227271. Doing so will render no results (see example below).
When you click on the result, you are brought to the following page where you will see the AscendCVQ results (this info is pulled from the FMCSA SAFER website and additional industry leading providers), displaying key information on this carrier including Authority Status, Operating Status, Insurance information and more.
Additionally, you will see the option to add this carrier to your Carriers or Customers databases with your AscendTMS.
Broker Credit Checks
For Broker Credit Checks, use the same format (Ex. MC561135).
When you click on the result, you are brought to the following page where you will see the Instant Credit Check results, provided by our good friends, Triumph.
Additionally, you will see the option to add this broker to your Customers or Carriers databases with your AscendTMS.
