What are Label Margins?

Model margins dictate the white space present on the left, right, top and bottom of a label model. By setting model margins, the physical dimensions of editable text on the label are reduced.

PROCESS FLOW

  1. Navigate to Asgard Labels > Preferences > Margins.

In the Generic Inquiry page of the label Margin form that opens, click on + to add a New Record.

Expected Result: The data entry page of label Margins must open.

In the data entry page, indicate the Margin ID. It is the unique identifier of the label model margins.

2. In the Summary Area of the form, indicate the Description. This is a brief description of the Margin being created.

3. In the Summary Area of the form, indicate the Size Unit. The following options are available: inch, cm, mm.

4. In the Summary Area of the form, indicate the Left, Right, Top and Bottom margins. This defines the space outside the element for each side.

In the Form Toolbar, click on the SAVE button to save the changes you’ve made.
