Selecting your printer

Once you’ve connected your Asgard Cloud Print account to Asgard Labels, all that is left to do is to set up your printer on the Label Printers screen. This will allow you to assign your printer to label models.

3. Enter a Printer ID for your printer. This should be something easily recognizable.

4. Write a short Description of the printer. This could be the type of printer, the printer’s name, and/or location.

5. In the Printer Type box, from the drop-down list, select the Print Node printer type. The printer type is the connection type of your printer.

6. In the Format ID box, from the selector, select one of the preloaded formats. Depending on the way you’ve configured your printer and the paper stock placed inside, you will need to select the corresponding format. If you do not see your desired format within the selector, you will have to navigate to the Label Formats screen (AL202000) and create your own format.

7. In the Content Type box, from the drop-down list, select one of the printer languages that are supported by Asgard Labels.

Cloud Print Specific API Key

Note: The Cloud Print Specific API key text box is reserved for additional systems that may need to connect their printers to the site. For instance, in case of a printing issue, our support team may need to connect their printer to perform tests. They will use a Cloud Print Specific API key to connect their printers to your site. Thus, this text box is typically used for external users.

To add your specific API Key, simply add it to the Cloud Print Specific API Key text box. Once it is added, refresh the Cloud Print Computer and Cloud Print Printer selectors to see your system and printers.
