The label model group is a feature that allows you to group multiple labels together. Groups can be formed for similar labels of the same category or for all labels mapped to the same screen. Grouping all the label models together, allows you to print all the labels at once.

Creating a group

To create a group, navigate to the Label Models screen (AL201000).

  1. Click Add New Record

  2. Write a Model ID and Description. This will help to identify the group.

  3. In Model Type, select Group

  4. In Screen ID, select the screen that all the labels within the group have in common

There are two ways to select the children (labels) that will be in the group.

One way is to individually select all the labels. To individually add the labels,

  1. Click on Add Row in the toolbar under the Child Labels tab

  2. Under the Model Column, select the desired labels that belong in the group

The other way is to click on the "Load Children" button in the toolbar, however, this will load all the labels that are mapped to the select screen found in the Screen ID. So, there may be some labels that are loaded in the group when they are not the children of the group.

Setup Tab

The setup tab is a section where a Tooltip is given and a Category can be assigned to the group.

A tooltip is a brief description of the use case of the label and the Category is a way to organize the groups and allows one to set the purpose of the label model group.
