e. Click on the Process button

Expected result: the files will be processed such that they will be available for use by the label model.

Adding The Image to Data Source

Now that the image file is on the site. To add an image to your label, we will need to

create a data element to easily map the image across different labels. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Data Source screen and select the Global Data Source.

2. In the Global Data Source, navigate to the Images tab.

3. Under the Printer Files column, using the selector, locate the image file you processed in the previous section.

4. (Optional) If the image is too big, you can use the Ratio column to scale the image down by a fraction of the actual size. Range going from 0 to 1.

(i.e., Ratio = 0.75 -> represents 75% of the actual size)

Adding the image to your label model

1. Navigate to the Expression Tab of the desired label model

2. Under the Data Element column, select the data element corresponding to the image file you configured in previous sections.

3. Assign position values (Pos. X & Pos. Y) to place your image at the desired place on the label

Expected Result: Your image is now placed on the label. You can click on the Render button to view the image on the label model and adjust the placement of the image (if needed)
