How do I purchase Asgard Labels?

Since Asgard Labels is a Fulfilled by Acumatica solution, all purchases are made through Acumatica via their price list.

What is the pricing model?

There are two SKUs to purchase from the Acumatica price list: the subscription plan which is the licensing to use Asgard Labels and the support package which is a plan that covers all implementation and label creation costs from our team for your company (explaining more in depth below). The subscription plan is divided into 3 tiers, each of which depends on the number of printers you use for printing your labels:

  • Basic: covers 1-2 printers

  • Professional: covers 3 to 5 printers

  • Enterprise: covers 6 to 10 printers

Each plan comes with 8 pre-defined label models to play around with and become familiar with the solution, 15 pre-integrated screens, unlimited users, documentation, and wikis. A license also covers any bugs reported by users during the use of the software or upgrades to Acumatica. Additionally, it is available for all Acumatica versions.

What if I have more than 10 printers?

If you have more than 10 printers, extra printers can be added to the enterprise license. Based on your needs, you can add one printer at a time or purchase bundles of 5 or 10 printers.

Why is there a separate support package?

The Asgard Labels support package is there to cover all your needs. To make your printing process as efficient as possible, the support package gives you access to our team's full support right from the implementation process to expressions and label mapping during label creation. Furthermore, the support package includes debugging any potential issues and the creation of new labels (if enough label points remain). Put simply, let us do the technical work, while you keep working.

What are the different tiers in the support package?

At first glance, the presence of 4 support tiers may seem cumbersome, however, we can easily simplify this with 2 categories: Maintenance support and Label creation.

Maintenance support is the Lite Support. This tier will provide assistance in resolving printer issues and changing existing label designs. It does not include the creation or design of new labels. This tier is designed as the support service for the second year of implementation once the labels have been created or in the first year if no standard support package is taken.

Label creation category envelops the Essential, Standard, and Standard Plus. All 3 tiers offer the same service where label experts from the Asgard Team create the labels for you. The only difference is the number of label points that each tier offers. To know which tier is needed for your company, send all your label samples to the Asgard Team, and we will tell you how many points are needed. All 3 tiers include the services described in Lite Support.

So, the Lite Support pertains to the support for Labels and Printer issues. The other tiers include the Lite support as well as the label creation service from Asgard.

How does the points system work?

In the support package, you have access to label points. Label points are spendable points that you can use for our specialized label team to build any labels for you. Depending on the complexity of the label, that label will cost a certain amount of points.

For example, a sample 1-point label will contain some text fields and 1 or 2 barcodes (see image below).

Labels can also get more complex with 3 or 5-point labels that will contain a mix of different barcodes such as 2D barcodes, or even GS1 barcodes. The label below is a 5-point label as it contains images, multiple linear barcodes, and a data matrix (2D) barcode.

Note: the point cost of a label does not affect the quality and accuracy of your label's recreation within the Asgard Labels template. Our specialized team will recreate your label to the exact specifications that are sent to them.

Is there any support included in the purchase of a license?

When purchasing a license for Asgard Labels, the initial implementation along with the setup of the customizations and printers is included. Further, any bugs reported during the use of the software or upgrades to Acumatica are included in the license. However, when it comes to printer issues and changing/updating label designs, you need to purchase Lite Support. The Lite Support only pertains to the support for Labels and Printer issues. While the License covers bugs on the Acumatica side of the software.
