What are credits?

Credits are the 'currency' being used on the platform. We have different pricing packages for our credits, which you can refer to here.

How many credits do I need for my survey?

When creating a survey, the cost of the survey is based on the following factors:

  1. The number of questions in the survey

  2. The number of responses you need from the survey

  3. If you require translation to English, Malay or Mandarin

Let's go through all of these one by one!

The number of questions

Screener questions cost 3 credits each, and all other question types cost 1 credit each. So if you had a 12-question survey with 1 screener question and 11 other questions, it would cost you 14 credits per response (3 credits for the screener question + 11 credits for the other 11 questions).

Screener questions are the questions that screen out respondents you don't want. For example, if your survey was targeting bubble tea drinkers, the screener question below would only allow those who have consumed bubble tea in the past month to answer the rest of the survey.

If a respondent has NOT selected bubble tea, you will not have to pay for their response. The only response you'll pay for are those who have selected bubble tea.

If certain questions contain display logic, they will be counted as 1 question as usual when calculating number of credits per response.

The number of responses you need from the survey

Your total cost also depends on the number of respondents.

Let's take a very simple example first. If you have 1 non-screener question to ask 100 respondents, it will cost you 100 credits. If you have 2 non-screener questions to ask 100 respondents, it will cost you 200 credits. Basically, we're working off the following formula:

Let's take the same 12-question survey as before, with 1 screener question and 11 other questions, which would cost you 14 credits per response. If you needed 400 responses, the survey would cost you:

If you require translation to English, Malay or Mandarin

If your survey is going to be in more than one language, and you require our services for translation, this will cost you an additional 10 credits per question, per language.

Taking the same example of our 12-questions survey, which you need translated to one language, translation will cost:

If your survey was 12 questions long, and you need it translated to two languages, translation will cost:

However, if you provide your own translation(s), you will not be charged for translation costs.

Final Cost

Your final cost should follow the formula below:
