How do I switch between Indexes?
Short answer
Click Projects in the left-hand menu to instantly see all your Projects, then select the one you want to open.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Projects view
Click Projects from the left-hand menu.
Your available Projects will appear on the main screen as folders.
Choose a Project
Click the folder for the Project you want to open.
This will load the Project, allowing you to view or upload files, start chats, and interact with AskTuring using only that Project’s content.
Switch to a different Project
To change to another Project, click Projects again in the left menu.
Select a different folder from the list to switch instantly.
Access shared Projects (Collections)
If you want to explore shared AskTuring Projects, click Collections in the left-hand menu.
Collections are read-only Projects created and shared by AskTuring.
Tips
Projects open directly from the main Projects page — no drop-down needed.
Use Projects for your own uploaded files, and Collections for shared, AskTuring-created reference materials.
You can switch between Projects and Collections at any time without losing your current chat session.
