Short answer

Each Project is stored separately, encrypted, and accessible only to you unless you choose to share it in the future.

Full explanation

AskTuring is designed to keep your Project data private and secure at all times. Here is how your information is protected:

  • SOC 2 certified
AskTuring’s security controls and processes meet SOC 2 standards, independently audited to ensure compliance with strict requirements for data security, availability, and confidentiality.

  • Project isolation
Every Project is stored separately in AskTuring’s system. This prevents data from one Project from being mixed with another and ensures that only your selected Project is searched or referenced when you use it.

  • Encryption
All documents are encrypted during upload (in transit) and while stored (at rest). This ensures that your files cannot be read or accessed by unauthorized users or systems.

  • No AI model training
Your documents and Project data are never used to train AI models. AskTuring only processes your content to generate responses for you based on your chosen settings.

  • No LLM retention
The Large Language Models (LLMs) used by AskTuring do not retain your Project content or train on it. Each query is processed independently, and no data is stored for model learning.

  • Secure processing
All AI queries and retrievals take place in a protected computing environment that restricts access from outside systems and maintains data integrity throughout processing.

Tips

  • Use strong authentication and organization-level access controls to protect sensitive Projects.

  • Regularly review your Projects and connected integrations to maintain compliance with internal policies.

  • Remember that AskTuring’s cloud infrastructure is SOC 2–certified, ensuring enterprise-grade protection for all data.
