Short answer

AskTuring always uses the most recent version of your documents when generating answers.

Full explanation

AskTuring’s responses are always grounded in the latest information available in your Project. When you upload a new or updated version of a document, it is immediately processed and becomes part of the searchable data for future queries.

You do not need to delete older versions of documents. The AI is designed to recognize and prioritize the most recent or most relevant content automatically. This allows you to maintain a historical record of older materials without reducing the accuracy or quality of answers.

If your policies, procedures, or reference materials change frequently, keeping your Projects updated ensures the AI reflects the latest requirements. When reviewing answers, you can click the linked sources to open the exact page or section in the document where the information came from, confirming that it remains valid and current.

  1. Upload new or revised documents as soon as updates are approved to keep your Projects current.

  2. Retain older versions when version history is important, since the AI automatically prioritizes the newest content.

  3. Always verify critical answers by checking the linked document source for the most up-to-date information.
