Short answer

Check the citations, source links, and document coverage in the response. You can also use tools such as Deepen Answer, Focus On, or External Knowledge mode to explore your topic further and ensure you have complete coverage.

Full explanation

AskTuring’s responses are grounded in your documents when using Project Only or Project + AI modes. The AI searches across all documents in your selected Project, or within a specific Folder or file if you have narrowed your scope.

Each answer includes:

  • Citations: Links to the exact document and page where the information was found.

  • Snippets: Hover over a citation to preview the relevant text before opening the file.

  • Document scope: You can adjust the scope by including more folders, files, or switching to another Project if needed.

To make sure you have found everything on your topic:

  1. Review all citations in the answer and note which documents were used.

  2. Check for coverage across multiple documents if your topic spans several areas.

  3. If something seems missing, rephrase your question, add clarifying details, or use Deepen Answer to expand the response.

  4. Switch to Project + AI or External Knowledge mode if you want the AI to include broader context or external information beyond your uploaded documents.

Examples

  • After asking “What are the compliance steps for vendor onboarding?”, review the cited files to confirm policies, templates, and checklists were included.

  • If the answer seems brief, use Deepen Answer to have AskTuring explore the topic in more depth and reference additional materials.

  • To verify full coverage, search again using alternate terms like supplier approval or vendor setup to capture related content that may use different wording.

Tips for Better Coverage

  • Ask follow-up questions if an answer feels incomplete.

  • Try alternative keywords or phrasing to uncover additional information.

  • Use Focus On mode to narrow searches to specific folders or documents for precision.

  • Use Project + AI or External Knowledge mode to bring in extra background or supporting context.

  • Always review the cited sources to confirm the accuracy and completeness of results, especially for compliance or policy topics.
