Short answer
You can share a conversation by turning on the Public Link toggle in the History panel, which generates a shareable link.

Full explanation
If you want to share a past conversation with others, AskTuring allows you to generate a public link:

  1. Find the conversation you want to share in the History list.

  2. Click the "Share" button at the top right hand corner.

  3. Enable the public link by toggling the switch to "Enabled". This will generate a unique shareable link.

  4. Click on the "Copy Link" icon to the right of the link, and share it via email, chat, or social media.

When you toggle the Public Link on, the conversation becomes publicly accessible to anyone with the link.

Tips

  • You can also share directly to platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, or X from the sharing screen.

  • Be mindful that enabling a Public Link means the information could be viewed by others beyond your intended recipients. Avoid sharing sensitive content this way.

  • Viewer willbe able to see your conversation, but will not be able to continue it or ask follow-up questions.

Examples

  • A marketing agency shares a brainstorming chat publicly so collaborators outside the organization can review campaign ideas before a client presentation.

  • A software company posts a shared conversation link on its internal Slack channel to show how AskTuring helped resolve a technical issue.

  • A consulting firm uses a public link to include an AI-generated summary in a client proposal without exporting the chat content manually.

  • A university research group shares a conversation discussing literature review insights with team members who do not yet have AskTuring access.
