Short answer
AskTuring lets you upload up to 100 files or 100 MB of total content in a single upload, whether they come from one folder or multiple files selected together.

Full explanation
Bulk uploads make it faster to add large amounts of content to your Index at once. You can upload multiple files or an entire folder in a single action:

  1. From the main Ask screen, select Upload Files from the left-hand side menu.

  2. Check the dropdown at the top to confirm you are in the correct Index.

  3. Click either Upload Files (and select multiple files) or Upload Folder.

  4. The upload process will start, and you can monitor progress in the Status column.

  5. When the upload finishes, a confirmation pop-up will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Limits

  • Maximum of 100 files or 100 MB of total content per upload, whichever comes first.

  • If you select more than 100 files or files totaling over 100 MB, the upload will fail and you’ll need to split it into smaller batches.

  • Unsupported file types will not upload, and you’ll get an error message for those files.

Tips

  • Group related documents into batches before uploading to keep them organized in your Index.

  • If you have a very large collection, plan multiple uploads to avoid hitting the file or size limit.
