Short answer
You can invite teammates from User Management under Index settings, assign them roles (Manager, Contributor, Viewer), and control which Indexes they can access.
Full explanation
AskTuring lets you collaborate securely by inviting teammates and assigning role-based permissions. You can manage access at the Index level, ensuring each teammate has the right level of visibility and control.
To invite a teammate:
Go to Index Management and select User Management.
Click the blue Invite User button.
Enter your teammate’s email address.
Choose their access type:
Admin Access – grants full access to all chats and all Indexes.
Custom Access – lets you select specific Indexes and assign roles.
Assign a role for each selected Index:
Viewer – can chat, read files, read the Semantic Map, and read emails.
Contributor – includes Viewer permissions plus file management, Semantic Map management, viewing team chat history, and managing emails.
Manager – includes Contributor permissions plus the ability to manage public interfaces.
Click Send Invite. You’ll see “Invitation sent successfully!” If the person is already in your organization, you’ll see “User is already a member of the organization.”
You can manage pending invites by going to Invitations in the User Management menu, where you can also delete unused invitations.
Tips
Use Admin Access only for trusted teammates who need oversight across all Indexes.
Organize members by team to keep permissions structured and easy to manage.
Regularly review pending invitations to ensure security and avoid unused invites.
