Short answer
Deepen Answer re-analyzes your question with added context and reasoning to produce a more detailed, evidence-based version of the original reply, shown directly beneath it for easy comparison. You can use it multiple times in a row to keep deepening the level of detail.
Full explanation
With Deepen Answer, you can turn a quick summary into a comprehensive explanation without rewriting your question. When you click Deepen Answer on any response, AskTuring:
Re-reads your original question and conversation context (including any relevant Index or AI-only details).
Expands the reasoning to cover supporting points, trade-offs, and “why it matters” insights.
Surfaces evidence and references found in your Index or conversation context when available.
Generates a deeper answer and places it right below the original response so you can compare the concise summary with the expanded version.
You can click Deepen Answer multiple times in a row to progressively expand the explanation. Each deepening layer builds on the previous one, adding more context, evidence, and reasoning for users who want increasingly detailed insights.
This feature is especially useful for in-depth analysis, research, or when you need both a summary and a detailed breakdown. It preserves your quick answer for speed while giving you the flexibility to explore the topic as deeply as you need.
Tips
If you want stronger supporting evidence, run your query in Index-Only mode or reference a specific Folder to narrow the source context.
Try adjusting your question slightly before deepening again to guide AskTuring toward specific angles or topics you want expanded.
Each time you deepen an answer, the new version appears below the previous one so you can easily compare levels of detail.
