Short answer
Recent Chat History Across Workspaces shows a single list of your recent chats from AI Chat, Projects, and Collections, so you can easily return to any conversation. Chats from Vaults are excluded for privacy and security.

Full explanation
With Recent Chat History Across Workspaces, you can now view all your latest AskTuring conversations in one place. Instead of switching between different workspaces to find a past chat, you can open your Ask History and see a unified list of your recent sessions from AI Chat, Projects, and Collections.

This feature makes it simple to continue your work, review recent insights, or resume discussions regardless of where the chat started. Each entry includes the chat title and last activity date, so you can quickly locate and reopen any session.

For security reasons, Vault chats are excluded from this list. Vaults maintain strict privacy controls, so their content and activity remain completely separate from your general chat history.

Tips

  • Use the Ask History panel to move quickly between your most recent chats without switching workspaces.

  • Rename your chats to make it easier to identify them later in the unified list.

  • Remember that Vault chats will not appear here, ensuring your most sensitive conversations stay private.

Examples

  • A law firm switches between Project Chat and AI Chat during client research and uses the Recent Chat History view to pick up the most recent discussion instantly.

  • A marketing agency reviews campaign ideas brainstormed in AI Chat and continues refining them in a Project Chat found in the unified list.

  • An engineering firm easily reopens a technical Q&A from its Project workspace while referencing earlier notes from AI Chat in the same panel.

  • A financial services company sees its active sessions from Collections and AI Chat in one view while knowing that its Vault chats remain fully protected.
