Full explanation
AskTuring now uses the term Project instead of Index to make your workspace easier to understand and manage.

A Project is your central hub for organizing and exploring information with AI. Each Project is a secure, self-contained workspace that holds your documents, folders, and AI conversations.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You can create multiple Projects for different topics, teams, or clients.

  2. Within each Project, you can upload files, create Folders, and use the AI to search, summarize, or analyze your documents.

  3. The AI only searches and responds using information inside your current Project, ensuring focused, accurate answers.

This change makes it easier to think of your work as grouped around clear, project-based areas instead of abstract “Indexes.” Functionality remains the same — only the terminology and interface labels have changed.

Tips

  • Use meaningful names for each Project, such as “Client ABC Reports” or “Internal IT Policies.”

  • Keep documents organized with Folders to make searches and insights faster.

  • Remember: when you switch Projects, the AI context switches too — so responses will only come from the selected Project’s materials.

Examples

  • A law firm creates separate Projects for each client case to store contracts, filings, and correspondence.

  • A marketing agency builds Projects for each campaign, keeping briefs, designs, and analytics in one place.

  • A manufacturing company sets up Projects for “Product Development,” “Safety Standards,” and “Supplier Agreements.”
