Short answer
You can click the microphone icon in the Ask box to start dictating your question or prompt. Your speech will appear as text in real time, and you can edit it before sending.
Full explanation
Voice dictation lets you speak your question or prompt directly into AskTuring. When you click the microphone icon in the Ask box, AskTuring begins live speech-to-text transcription, showing your words instantly in the box.
As you talk, the transcription updates in real time. Interim words refine automatically into the final text for greater accuracy. You can also use punctuation commands such as “comma,” “question mark,” “period,” or “new line,” and AskTuring will insert them correctly.
After finishing your question or prompt, you can edit the text before submitting it to ensure it reads exactly as you intend. Voice dictation works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices, making it easier to interact with AskTuring wherever you are.
Tips
Speak naturally and clearly to improve transcription accuracy.
