Short answer
Triggered Prompts let you automatically run an AI prompt when a specific condition is met. You can access them from the Actions section in the left hand menu, then select Triggered Prompts.
Full explanation
Triggered Prompts are part of AskTuring’s automation features. They allow you to set up simple “if this, then that” rules so the AI runs a prompt automatically instead of waiting for you to ask it manually.
A Triggered Prompt runs when a defined condition occurs, such as when a file is added to a Project or when a certain type of document appears. Once the condition is met, AskTuring immediately executes the prompt and generates a response based on your instructions.
To access Triggered Prompts:
Look at the left hand navigation menu in AskTuring.
Click Actions.
Select Triggered Prompts from the Actions page.
From there, you can view existing triggered prompts or create a new one. This area is designed to help you automate repeatable workflows, reduce manual checks, and ensure important actions happen consistently across your Projects.
Triggered Prompts work with your existing AskTuring setup, including Projects, Personas, and model settings, so the AI behaves exactly how you expect when the trigger activates.
Tips
Start with simple triggers to get comfortable before building more complex workflows.
Use clear prompt instructions so the platform produces consistent results every time it runs.
Review triggered prompts periodically to ensure they still align with your current workflow.
Examples
A law firm sets up a Triggered Prompt that runs whenever a new contract is uploaded, automatically summarizing key clauses for review.
A healthcare organization configures a Triggered Prompt to flag and summarize policy updates when new documents are added.
A manufacturing company uses Triggered Prompts to extract specifications from newly uploaded supplier documents.
