Short answer
You can create a Triggered Prompt from the Actions section by selecting Triggered Prompts and clicking Add Prompt, then defining when it should run and what it should do.

Full explanation
Creating a Triggered Prompt allows you to automate a task that normally requires manual input. Instead of running a prompt yourself, AskTuring runs it automatically when a specific condition is met.

To create a Triggered Prompt:

  1. Open the left hand menu and click Actions.

  2. Select Triggered Prompts.

  3. Click Add Prompt or Start Prompt if none exist yet.

  4. Choose the Project where the prompt should run.

  5. Select the File Type that will activate the prompt, or leave it as all files.

  6. Enter a clear Prompt Name so you can easily identify it later.

  7. Write the Prompt or Query that you want the platform to run when the condition is met.

  8. Expand Chat Options to choose the AI model, Persona, and optional settings like web search or external knowledge.

  9. Expand Notifications to decide if you want to receive emails on success or failure.

  10. Click Create Prompt to activate it.

Once created, the Triggered Prompt will automatically run whenever its condition occurs. You can pause or manage it later from the Triggered Prompts list.

Tips

  • Use descriptive names so you know exactly what each Triggered Prompt does.

  • Be specific in your prompt instructions to avoid vague or inconsistent responses.

  • Enable notifications when testing new prompts so you can confirm they are working as expected.

Examples

  • A real estate company creates a Triggered Prompt that summarizes inspection reports as soon as they are uploaded to a Project.

  • An accounting firm sets up a Triggered Prompt to extract key numbers from new financial documents automatically.

  • A marketing firm creates a Triggered Prompt that analyzes incoming campaign briefs and highlights required deliverables.
