Step-by-step Instructions
Navigate to the chat interface where you want to ask your question
Locate the Web Search toggle button below the prompt/search bar (the text input field where you type your questions)
Click the Web Search button to enable it
The button will indicate that Web Search is now active (typically through a color change or toggle state)
Type your question in the prompt bar and submit—the AI will now include web results in its response
Tips and Notes
When to use Web Search: Enable this feature when you need current information, recent news, or data that may not be in your uploaded documents
Response time: Queries with Web Search enabled may take slightly longer to process as the AI retrieves information from the internet
Context mixing: The AI will blend information from both your documents and web sources, clearly indicating which source each piece of information comes from
Toggle anytime: You can turn Web Search on or off for each individual question—it doesn't stay permanently enabled
