Summary
This article explains how to quickly find files in your AskTuring.ai project using file type filters and the "Search in Project" field. Use these steps when you have many files and want to locate specific documents faster.
Prerequisites
You must be logged in to your AskTuring.ai account.
You must have access to the project whose files you want to search.
Step-by-step instructions
A. Filter files by type
Open the file type dropdown
In your project’s files area, locate the dropdown that shows All File Types.
Click the All File Types dropdown to view filter options.
Select a specific file type
From the dropdown list, click Structured Data (.csv, .xlsx).
The files list will update to show only structured data files with
.csvor.xlsxextensions.
B. Search for a file by name
Click the "Search in Project" field
In the files area, find the search bar labeled Search in Project.
Click inside the Search in Project field to activate it.
Type the file name
Start typing the name (or part of the name) of the file you want to find.
As you type, the list of files will update to match your search text and any filters you have applied (such as file type).
Review the search results
Look through the filtered list to locate your file.
Click the file from the results to open or manage it as needed.
Tips or notes
You can combine filters and search: first choose a file type from All File Types, then use Search in Project to narrow results further.
If you don’t see the file you expect, clear your search text and reset the file type filter back to All File Types.
Make sure you spell the file name correctly or try typing only a unique part of the name.
