Summary
This article explains how to download individual chats as PDFs, bulk download multiple chats as a ZIP file, and create a public read-only share link. Use these steps to save, back up, or share conversations from AskTuring.ai with others.
Prerequisites
You must be logged in to your AskTuring.ai account.
You must have access to the project or workspace where the chat history is stored.
Your workspace role must allow exporting or sharing chats (if restricted by your admin).
Step-by-step instructions
A. Download a single chat as a PDF
Open more options for a chat
Go to your chat history or the list of previous conversations.
Find the chat you want to download.
Click the More options icon (often shown as three dots or a similar menu) on that chat.
Select Download
In the menu that appears, click Download.
The chat will be prepared as a PDF file.
Your browser will start the download or ask you where to save the PDF.
B. Bulk download multiple chats as a ZIP
Click Select in chat history
In your chat history view, click Select (or a similar button) to enter selection mode.
Choose conversations to download
Click each chat you want to include in the bulk download.
Selected chats will be highlighted or marked.
Download selected chats
After selecting your chats, use the available Download option (for example, a Download button that appears in selection mode).
AskTuring.ai will bundle the selected chats into a single ZIP file.
Your browser will download the ZIP, which contains individual chat files (typically PDFs).
C. Share a chat with a public read-only link
Open the share options
Open the specific chat you want to share.
In the chat view, click the Share icon in the top-right corner.
Enable the public link
In the share dialog, find the Public Link toggle.
Turn on the Public Link toggle to generate a shareable, read-only link.
Copy and share the link
Once the public link is enabled, click Copy link (or copy it manually from the field).
Share this link with others; they will be able to view the chat in read-only mode without logging in (subject to your workspace’s security settings).
Tips or notes
Public links are read-only: viewers cannot edit the chat, only view it.
If you want to stop sharing a chat, return to the share dialog and turn off the Public Link toggle; the link will no longer work.
Bulk downloads may take longer if you select many chats or very long conversations.
Keep downloaded PDFs and ZIP files secure, especially if chats contain sensitive or confidential information.
If you do not see download or share options, your admin may have restricted export or public sharing features.
