Guide to Creating Aspire Physical Cards

Notes: Businesses incorporated in Hong Kong cannot select the Source of Funds when creating physical cards, as we will automatically choose the HKD Cards Account.

Which countries can create a physical card?

At this time, only businesses incorporated in Singapore and Hong Kong are eligible to create Aspire physical cards. Delivery of these physical cards is limited to addresses within Singapore and Hong Kong.

If your registered personal address is outside of Singapore or Hong Kong, you cannot select it as a delivery address. We recommend having the card delivered to your business address (if it is located in Singapore or Hong Kong) or manually entering a valid Singapore or Hong Kong address under the "Card delivery address" option.

Creating a Physical Card

Admin users and Budget Owners* can create a physical card directly in-app.

Meanwhile, Finance and Employee users will need to request the physical card in-app, which will be sent to Admin users for approval before the physical card is issued.

*Budget Owners can create physical cards only within the budget to which they are assigned.

Admin users or Budget Owners

To create a physical card, follow the steps below:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click on the blue "➕ New card" on the right-hand side

  3. Choose the intended recipient of the card

  4. Enter the card name and card's purpose, then select "Physical Card" under the "What type of card will it be" section.

  5. Scroll down to continue filling out the rest of the card particulars, then click "Continue"

  6. Enter the cardholder name you would like to appear on the physical card. You may also change the card name. If all is good, click "Continue".

  7. Select the address where you would like your card to be delivered, then click "Continue". Hit "Place order and pay" after reviewing your physical card request details, and you're done! Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery to Singapore and Hong Kong.

Notes:

  • Source of Funds

    • Select the source of funds from any Aspire Debit Account (SGD or USD).

    • If you have multiple multi-currency accounts, choose the correct one for your card.

  • Cardholder & Card Name

    • Physical cards support up to 15 characters each for the Cardholder’s Name and the Card Name.

  • Card Color

    • Physical card comes in a fixed color and cannot be customized.

  • Address Fields

    • Only letters and numbers are allowed. Symbols or special characters are not accepted.

  • Editing Card Details

    • Admin users can edit card details after the request has been submitted to them.

    • Once the order is in processing, the Cardholder’s Name and Card Name can no longer be changed.

  • Card Assignment

    • After issuance, the card is permanently assigned to the user and cannot be reassigned.


Finance or Employee users

To request for a physical card, follow the steps below:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click on the blue "➕ Request a card" on the right-hand side

  3. Enter the card name and card's purpose, then select "Physical Card" under the "What type of card will it be" section.

  4. Scroll down to continue filling out the rest of the card particulars*, then click "Continue"

  5. Enter the cardholder name you would like to appear on the physical card. You may also change the card name. If all good, click "Continue".

  6. Select the address where you would like your card to be delivered, then click "Continue". Hit "Place order and pay" after reviewing your physical card request details, and you're done! Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery to Singapore and Hong Kong.

How many physical cards can I create?

Businesses incorporated in Singapore

There is no limit on how many physical cards you can create. The first physical card per user is free! Subsequent cards for the same user are charged a 15 SGD processing fee. The payment will be deducted from your account. You will receive an email with your invoice and payment confirmation.

Businesses incorporated in Hong Kong

There is no limit on how many physical cards you can create. Each physical card costs HKD 118, which will be deducted from your HKD Cards account. You will receive an email with your invoice and payment confirmation.
