Best Practice #1

Assigning creators to team members

To assign creators to team members, go to the creator's member profile, click on "Add..." next to Owner, then select the team member(s) you want to assign them to.

You can also do this in bulk by selecting multiple members in your Members list, clicking the action menu, selecting "Assign Relationship Owner", selecting the team member(s) you want to assign them to.

Best Practice #2

Assigning messages to team members

If you come across messages that are not related to your work, you may assign them over to the correct team member by hovering over the "Assigned to" section, clicking on the pencil icon that appears, then selecting the team member(s) you want to assign it over to. You can assign messages to multiple people to make collaboration with teammates easier.

Best Practice #3

Tapping team members in

If you would like to tap a team member in a thread you are in, go ahead and click on Assign, select the team member(s) you would like to tap in. Aspire does not defy the rules of email, so if you are using an individual email and not a shared email, your teammates will not be able to reply to that email thread unless they are looped in! Make sure add their email address on the To field, then send an email to add them to the thread.

Best Practice #4

Using the To-do feature

This is a great way to treat your inbox as a to-do list and feel great about checking each of those items off.

Within the "Assigned to Me" section of your inbox, you can mark something as done in two ways:

  1. You can hover over the email within the list, and click on the check button that appears on the right side.
    โ€‹

  2. You can click on the Mark as Done icon on the upper right side of the email thread.
    โ€‹

Once you have marked something as done, they should pop on over to the Done section.

If you have accidentally marked something as done, you can go ahead and mark it as to-do by going to the Done section, select the email, then click on the Mark as To-Do icon on the upper right side of the thread.

Please note that you can only mark something as done or as a to-do if the thread is assigned to you.

Best Practice #5

Using the Threads feature

The Threads feature is a great way to clean up your inbox and narrow down your focus for the day.

If you decide you want to work on something specific for the day, Terms for example, you can go to the "App Notifications" section of your inbox, click on the threads button, and un-select everything else aside from Terms. This will hide everything else in the meantime aside from your Terms threads.
