Overview

With the Klaviyo Integration, you can now sync influencer contacts over to your Klaviyo instance! This means you can create a custom email nurture sequence for specific groups outside of Aspire without the hassle of manually moving contact information. 🎉

Through this integration, you can send out email sequences to better manage your members by sending out reminders and communicating with specific groups. Examples include:

  • Reminders to apply to a project by filling out the form on the landing page

  • Getting a group of ambassadors excited for an upcoming product launch

  • Communicating about a new project with a specific group of creators

  • Sending special perks or promo codes for a specific group of influencers

Any member who is in a project or a group will have data pushed into Klaviyo. Because of this, you’ll want to make sure to organize your members in a way that makes the most sense for you before running the integration.

How to Connect Your Klaviyo

  1. Hover over your initials in the top right corner and select Integration Settings.

  2. On the left side click on Klaviyo.
    ​

  3. Export all members in projects and groups to a list in Klaviyo by clicking Run.
    ​

  4. The first time you click Run, Aspire will prompt you to authenticate your Klaviyo account.
    ​

  5. Follow the instructions on how to find the APIs needed to validate within your Klaviyo account and enter them into the necessary fields.
    ​

  6. Finally, configure the members to the appropriate list before completing installation.
    ​

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of data is pushed to Klaviyo?

The member profile data that is sent to Klaviyo includes both social media profile data and also relationship data, including which projects and groups the member is a part of. You can segment and customize your email campaigns based on this data. This data includes the following:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone Number

  • Address (address1, address2, zip code, city, country, state)

  • Instagram

  • TikTok

  • Pinterest

  • Youtube

  • Facebook

If a member is removed from a project, does the information get updated?

Yes. If a member is removed from a project, this information will be updated on Klaviyo so that the member doesn’t mistakenly receive an email intended for all project participants.

What is the difference between Run and Install in the Klaviyo setting?

Run should be used when exporting members from Aspire to another platform. Install should be used anytime there is a data change in Aspire.

Can we select a specific project or group to export or update in Klaviyo?

No. At this time, it is based on anyone who is in contact (which means anyone in a group or a project).

What members from Aspire are integrated into Klaviyo?

The members automatically added to Klaviyo include all members who are either part of a group or a project on Aspire. This does not include members who were automatically added by the WooCommerce or Mention Listening features.

What if I want to sync a person who is not in the active workflow yet to be a part of an email sequence?

Adding the creators to a group in Aspire will allow sync into Klaviyo.

How does Aspire update the contacts in Klaviyo?

To update member profile data into Klaviyo simply click “Install” in the Integration section of your account settings.
