How to add extra information to the reference field in Tripletex
Here is a special feature for anyone using the Tripletex integration.
When you search for invoices in Tripletex, reference is one of the fields you can search on. To make it even easier to find the right invoice, you can now pull key details from the job - such as the registration number, chassis number (VIN) or agreement reference - straight into that field automatically.
Here is what it looks like in practice: The information you pick appears on the invoice you send out, like this: đ

How to switch the new fields on
You decide which fields go into the reference. Here is how:
Go to Integrations in the system.
Find and open the Tripletex integration.
Turn on the toggles for the fields that are relevant to your business.

Make sure the accounts match between Assist and Tripletex
When you create products in Tripletex, the account numbers used on the product groups in Assist must also exist in Tripletex. If they do not, you will get this error message when exporting (posting to the ledger).
What does the error message mean?
If you get an error message while posting, there is a mismatch or something missing between the accounts in Assist and the chart of accounts in your accounting system. To fix it, check the accounts and update them where needed.
1. Check the accounts in Assist
Go to Administration â Product groups in Assist.
Look at which accounts are set up for the product groups.
These accounts must match the ones in Tripletex.
â
2. Check the accounts in Tripletex
Go to Accounts â Chart of accounts in Tripletex.
Find the relevant accounts.
Check that the accounts from Assist also exist there.
3. Fixing the error message
If a product or service in Assist has no matching account in Tripletex, you need to do one of the following:
â Change the account in Assist to one that exists in Tripletex.
â Create the account in Tripletex so that it matches Assist.
Following these steps gives you smooth posting without error messages.
Important for existing orders
If you have already created an order in Assist, you need to delete the order lines and add them again. This is because an order line carries the account number with it when it is added. If you only update the accounts without doing this, you may still get errors when posting.
