With AstroPay's international eSIM, you can purchase and activate a data plan directly from the app to stay connected while traveling.
Buy your eSIM
Open the AstroPay app.
Tap Benefits.
Select eSIM.
Choose your destination country or region and the amount of data you need.
Complete the purchase.
The eSIM is activated directly through the AstroPay app. No external links or other apps are needed.
Install your eSIM
Install the eSIM on the day of travel or one day before. Make sure your device is eSIM compatible before starting.
iPhone
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
Scan the QR code provided in the app.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Samsung
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager.
Tap Add Mobile Plan.
Scan the QR code.
Pixel
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
Tap + > Download a SIM instead.
Scan the QR code.
If the QR code does not work, select Enter details manually and enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided in the app.
After installation
Make sure the eSIM is enabled in your phone settings.
Ensure Data Roaming is turned on for the eSIM.
If needed, update the APN settings manually.
