Here’s how to get started.
How to buy your International eSIM in the AstroPay app
Open the AstroPay app.
Tap Rewards.
Select the eSIM.
Choose:
Your destination country or region.
The amount of data you need.
Complete the purchase.
Important: The eSIM is activated directly through the AstroPay app. No external links or other apps are needed.
How to install your International eSIM
Before installation:
Make sure your device is eSIM compatible.
Install the eSIM on the day of travel or one day before.
Installation via QR Code (recommended):
iPhone:
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
Scan the provided QR Code.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Samsung:
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager.
Tap Add Mobile Plan.
Scan the QR Code.
Pixel:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
Tap + > Download a SIM instead.
Scan the QR Code.
Manual installation (if QR code does not work):
Select Enter details manually.
Enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided in the app.
Note: Steps may vary slightly depending on your device and Android/iOS version.
After installation
Make sure the eSIM is enabled in your phone settings.
Ensure Data Roaming is turned ON for the eSIM.
If needed, update the APN settings manually.
