If you see a charge you didn’t make or approve, you can report it as fraud or an unauthorized transaction. This is also known as a chargeback.

What counts as fraud or an unauthorized transaction?

You can open a dispute if:

  • You didn’t make or approve the charge

  • Your card or account details were used without your permission

  • Your card was lost or stolen and used by someone else

Important: If someone you know used your card with your consent (even if you later changed your mind), it may not qualify as fraud.

How to report it in the AstroPay app

  1. Open the AstroPay app

  2. Go to Transaction History

  3. Select the transaction you’re disputing

  4. Tap Need help? or Report a problem

  5. Follow the steps to submit your dispute

How long do I have?

You have up to 120 calendar days from the date of the transaction to report unauthorized use.

What happens next?

  • Our team will review the case with the payment provider

  • We may ask you for more information, like receipts, emails, or screenshots

  • The review process may take a few business days

We know how stressful unauthorized charges can be. We’re here to help you resolve it quickly and securely.
