If the merchant confirmed your refund, but you haven’t received it yet in your AstroPay account, here’s what you need to know.
Why is my refund still pending?
After a merchant approves a refund, they must send the funds back through the original payment channel. AstroPay can only process the refund once the merchant sends it.
Refunds can take time, depending on how the merchant handles them. In some cases, it may take up to 30 days for the funds to be returned to your account.
What should I do?
Confirm with the merchant if the refund has already been sent, not just approved
Ask for any proof or confirmation of the refund (such as a receipt or reference number)
Once the refund is sent, the money will be added to your AstroPay balance automatically
