If you noticed that the amount credited to your AstroPay account is lower than what you sent, don’t worry — in most cases, this is not related to AstroPay.
Here are some common reasons why this can happen:
Fee charged by the sending bank – some banks apply transfer fees, reducing the amount sent.
Currency conversion – if the transfer was made in another currency, an automatic conversion may have occurred, leading to a different amount.
Intermediary fees – in some cases, intermediary banks or digital wallets may deduct small charges during the process.
Important: AstroPay always receives the exact amount that leaves your bank or wallet. We do not deduct anything on our side.
If you still have questions, please send us a proof of the original transaction (from your bank/wallet) along with the amount received on AstroPay. This will help us review your case and provide support.
