AstroPay offers the CCI account (Código de Cuenta Interbancario) in Peru, allowing fast and secure transfers between banks.
What is the CCI account?
The CCI is a unique bank account number in Peru, similar to Pix in Brazil or CLABE in Mexico.
Who can use it?
Available only for Peruvian users with a valid DNI.
How to activate your CCI account
Open the AstroPay app.
Go to your PEN wallet.
Tap Get account details.
Complete the required information.
⚠️ The account is not created automatically — you need to complete the activation process.
Unable to Create a CCI Account
Please check:
Are you registered as a PEP (Politically Exposed Person)?
Are you a foreign user without valid Peruvian documentation?
Is your app up to date with the latest version?
Could it be a temporary system issue? (try again later)
➡️ If you fall into any of the cases above, it will not be possible to create a CCI account.
If none of these apply and you still cannot create your CCI, note the error message that appears and share it with support.
