What is IBAN for GBP?

IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is the format used to identify bank accounts internationally. For GBP transfers in the UK, money moves through FPS, BACS, or CHAPS, instead of SEPA, which is used for EUR.

AstroPay gives you access to personal account details (including an IBAN) to send and receive funds in GBP.

How to open an IBAN account in AstroPay

  1. Go to your AstroPay Account.

  2. Select the GBP wallet.

  3. Click Obtain account details and complete the form.

  4. Share your IBAN to receive money.
