CVU (Clave Virtual Uniforme) is Argentina's virtual banking identifier for digital wallets — a 22-digit code that lets you receive ARS transfers from any local bank account or digital wallet. Argentine AstroPay users can use their CVU to receive funds instantly and at no extra cost.

How to get your CVU

You can request your CVU directly from your ARS wallet. You only need to complete a quick validation the first time.

  1. Log in to your AstroPay account.

  2. Open your ARS wallet.

  3. Tap the bank icon 🏦 in the upper-right corner.

  4. Follow the validation steps shown on screen.

Once completed, your CVU will be ready to use. To view your CVU and alias again, repeat steps 1–3.

How to receive funds via CVU

Share your CVU number or alias with whoever needs to send you money. Funds are typically credited within a few minutes.

Things to know

  • Your CVU is unique to your AstroPay account and does not change.

  • Transfers received via CVU are credited in Argentine pesos (ARS).

  • You can share your alias instead of the full 22-digit number.
