SPEI (Sistema de Pagos Electrónicos Interbancarios) is Mexico's real-time interbank transfer system. Mexican AstroPay users can receive MXN transfers through SPEI using their CLABE — an 18-digit account number that uniquely identifies your account for transfers.
How to receive via SPEI
To activate your CLABE and receive SPEI transfers, go to your MXN wallet in the app and tap Get account details. Complete the activation process to get your CLABE number, then share it with whoever is sending you funds.
ℹ️ Note: The CLABE account is not created automatically — you need to complete the activation steps in the app.
Eligibility
SPEI is available only for Mexican users with valid local documentation. Foreign users without Mexican documentation cannot activate a CLABE account.
