IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is the standard format used to identify bank accounts in Europe. It works within SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) — a network that lets you send and receive EUR payments between participating countries as easily as a local bank transfer.

AstroPay gives you a personal IBAN so you can receive EUR transfers directly into your wallet from any bank in the SEPA network.

How to get your IBAN in AstroPay

  1. Open your AstroPay account and go to your EUR wallet.

  2. Tap Obtain account details and complete the form.

  3. Your IBAN and account details will be shown on screen.

  4. Share them with whoever needs to send you money.

How to receive money via IBAN

  1. Share your IBAN with the sender.

  2. The sender initiates a SEPA transfer from their bank.

  3. The funds are credited to your AstroPay EUR wallet.

ℹ️ Note: Processing time is usually 0–2 working days. Always double-check that the sender has your correct IBAN to avoid delays.

Once received, your EUR balance is available to spend with the AstroCard or transfer to other accounts.
