How to add your AstroCard to Apple Pay or Google Pay

You can add your AstroCard to Apple Pay or Google Pay to make fast, contactless payments in stores and apps — directly from your phone or watch.

Add to Apple Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the + button.

  3. Select Debit or credit card.

  4. Follow the on-screen steps and enter your AstroCard details when prompted.

  5. Complete the verification step to activate the card in Apple Pay.

Add to Google Pay

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device.

  2. Tap Add to Wallet.

  3. Select Payment card.

  4. Enter your AstroCard details or scan your card.

  5. Complete the verification step to activate the card in Google Pay.

ℹ️ Note: You'll need your AstroCard number, CVV, and expiry date to complete setup. You can find these in the AstroCard section of the AstroPay app.

Things to know

  • Payments are charged to your AstroPay balance — make sure you have sufficient funds before paying.

  • Both virtual and physical AstroCards can be added to digital wallets.

  • If your AstroCard is paused or blocked, payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay will also be declined.
