Report a lost or stolen AstroCard

Learn how to block your AstroCard immediately if it's lost or stolen and how to request a replacement from the app.

If your AstroCard is lost or stolen, act immediately from the AstroPay app to protect your funds. Your balance stays in your AstroPay account — only the physical card needs to be blocked.

Block your AstroCard right away

  1. Open the AstroPay app and go to the AstroCard section.

  2. Tap your card and select Pause for a temporary block, or Cancel card if it's permanently lost or stolen.

  3. Confirm the action.

Once blocked, no further transactions can be made with the lost card.

⚠️ Important: If you can't access the app, do this from another device by logging into your AstroPay account as soon as possible.

Check for unauthorized transactions

  1. Open Transaction History in the app.

  2. Review recent activity for any charges you don't recognize.

  3. If you find an unauthorized transaction, tap on it and select Dispute transaction to report it.

Request a replacement

After canceling a lost or stolen physical card, you can request a new one from the AstroCard section in the app. Your virtual AstroCard is unaffected and can still be used for online purchases or in digital wallets while your new physical card arrives.

Things to know

  • Your AstroPay balance and account remain secure — only the card needs to be replaced.

  • The new card will have a different card number, expiry date, and CVV.

  • You'll need to activate the new card when it arrives.
