You can send money to anyone with an AstroPay account directly from the app. Transfers are instant and credited to the recipient's balance immediately.
How to send money
Open the AstroPay app and tap Send.
Select To an AstroPay user.
Choose the contact you want to send money to, or search by phone number or AstroTag.
Enter the amount and add an optional note.
Review the details and tap Send.
The funds are transferred instantly from your AstroPay balance to the recipient's wallet.
💡 Tip: Use an AstroTag instead of a phone number to find users quickly — it works even if the recipient isn't saved in your contacts.
Things to know
Both your account and the recipient's must be active and in good standing.
International transfers between users are processed in USD.
P2P transfers are instant and cannot be reversed once confirmed — double-check the recipient before sending.
Transfer limits apply based on your verification level and country.
Check the status of your transfer
You can review any sent transfer in your Transaction History. Once completed, both you and the recipient will see the transaction in the app.
