steps to use the copy-paste function as a temporary template for scheduling tasks until the official templates are available.

Key Steps


Step 1: Copy Everything in View 0:12

  • Navigate to the view you want to copy (by program, location, etc.).

  • Use the copy-paste function to copy everything visible.


Step 2: Or, Copy a Specific Swim Lane or Row 0:22

  • Identify the swim lane or row you want to copy (e.g., aquatics program).

  • Select the entire swim lane and copy it.


Step 3: Paste the Copied Week 0:57

  • Move to the week where you want to paste the copied schedule.

  • Click 'Paste' to recreate that week.


Step 4: Unassign Shifts 1:08

  • To unassign everyone in a row, select the row and unassign.

  • Alternatively, unassign the entire week if needed.



Step 7: Copy a Single Shift 1:35

  • Click 'Copy' on the specific shift you want to duplicate.

  • Navigate to the desired location and paste the shift within the same row.

  • Understand that while this method is not as efficient as using a template, it serves as a useful workaround.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure you are pasting within the same row when copying a single shift.

  • Be cautious when unassigning shifts to avoid losing important scheduling information.
