How to Clear Athletify Site Cookies
If you're experiencing login issues or strange behavior in Athletify immediately following a new release, it's often caused by old site data. Deleting the cookies specifically for the Athletify website can resolve these issues.
Here are the instructions for the two most common browsers: Google Chrome and Safari.
Option 1: Clearing Cookies in Google Chrome
These steps will guide you on how to delete cookies for only the Athletify website, leaving your other saved site data intact.
Open the Athletify website in Google Chrome.
Look for the lock icon (β) or tune icon (β) in the address bar (to the left of the URL). Click on it.
In the menu that appears, find and click on Cookies and Site Data.
A new dialog box will open. Select Manage on-device site data (or a similarly named option like Manage site data).
In the list of sites, look for the Athletify entries. You may see a few different subdomains.
Click the trash can icon (β) next to each of the Athletify entries to delete the cookies.
Click Done to close the window.
You will now need to re-login to the Athletify site.
Option 2: Clearing Cookies in Safari
Follow these steps to remove the stored cookies for the Athletify website in Safari.
With Safari open, click on the Safari menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
Select Settings (or Preferences on older versions of macOS).
In the Settings window, click on the Privacy tab (or icon).
Click the button labeled Manage Website Data.
A list of all websites with stored data will appear.
In the search bar provided, type "Athletify" to quickly filter the list.
Click on Athletify in the list to highlight it.
Click the Remove button.
Note: Be careful not to click "Remove All," as this will clear the data for every single website.
Click Done to close the window.
You should now be able to log in and use Athletify without issues.
