📅 Managing Your Schedule with Athletify

Welcome to your Athletify scheduling guide! Whether you need to check your upcoming shifts, find a replacement, or pick up extra hours, this guide covers everything you need to know.

1. Viewing Your Shifts

On the Athletify Homepage, you can see a summary of your upcoming schedule.

  • Key Details: Each shift displays the specific position and assigned location.

  • Shift Connections: Click any shift to see who is working with you, who is on other shifts at the same time, and who is taking over the next shift.

2. Dropping a Shift & Finding a Replacement

If you can’t make it to a shift, you can post it to the Job Board for others to see.

  1. Click on the shift you wish to drop.

  2. Select Post to Job Board.

    • Note: This also sends a request to your administrator for approval.

  3. Provide a reason and click Post and request to drop.

  4. Find a Replacement: Once posted, Athletify shows you a list of eligible, available co-workers. You can Direct Message them instantly from this screen to see if they can cover for you.

  5. To Cancel: If you change your mind, click the shift again and select Request to cancel the drop.

3. Finding & Claiming Extra Shifts

Want to earn more? Use the Job Board toggle to see available work.

  • Open Shifts: Shifts that are open for anyone to claim.

  • Trade Requests: Shifts your co-workers are looking to drop.

  • How to Claim: Click into a shift and select Request.

    • Note: Some shifts are claimed instantly, while others require admin approval. If you have a scheduling conflict, it will be flagged at the bottom of the screen.

4. Tracking Your Requests

To stay organized, click the Request Status icon (the clock/list icon) to view:

  • Shifts you are trying to claim.

  • Shifts you are trying to drop.

  • Time-off requests.

  • Status Indicators: See at a glance if your requests are Approved, Denied, or Canceled.

5. Using the "Everyone" Tab & Filters

If you need a broader view of the team’s schedule, use the Everyone tab. To avoid being overwhelmed by information:

  • Filter by Program: (e.g., Uncheck all programs except "Aquatics" to see only those shifts).

  • Filter by Date: Use the date picker to select a specific day or date range.

Pro Tip: If your request is approved by an administrator, you will receive a push notification on your phone, and the shift will automatically move to your schedule!
