How is stablecoin yield generated?

Stablecoin Yield

Updated over a week ago

The yield associated with SyrupUSD Tokens is generated from two primary sources administered by Maple:

  1. Overcollateralized Lending. Interest payments on overcollateralized loans originated to institutional borrowers, governed by Master Lending Agreements with posted collateral.

  2. Supporting Yield Strategies. Capital may also be allocated to supporting yield strategies, including but not limited to futures basis trading, other delta-neutral or market-neutral approaches, and liquidity provision in decentralized finance protocols.

Past performance is not indicative of future results, and yields are not guaranteed. The yield rate may vary and could be zero or negative in adverse market conditions.
