Along with the answers you add to your questions, all questions have additional options you can configure.

Add some common answers to your question, from the Add Other, None or N/A button.

  • None: signifies that none of the answers are applicable, or that their answer to the question is 'None'.

  • N/A: specifies this question does not apply to them.

  • Other: allows the respondent to type a different response to those that you’ve listed as answer options.

Within Answer Settings, you'll find additional answer functionality.

  • Multiple choice limit: You can limit the number of answers your respondents can pick. This only applies to multiple choice questions.

  • Randomise answers: Randomised answers are shuffled and shown to each respondent in a different order - to reduce order bias - and is enabled by default. The randomise answers feature can be switched off by toggling Randomise answers. You'll see this feature is toggled by seeing a randomise icon in each answer field.

  • Allow images: This allows you to add images for your answer options.

Another important feature is answer pinning.

  • Answer pinning: if you click the Pin icon on the right hand side of an answer, it will set that answer in place when the randomise answers feature is on.
