Closing and Re-opening Surveys

You can close and re-open live surveys. To do this, go to your dashboard and click the three dots in the top right hand corner of any live survey. A drop-down menu will appear, then click "Close Survey".

Closing and Re-opening waves in Multi-wave Surveys (Trackers)

To close an open wave on your multi-wave surveys (trackers), open the survey and navigate to the Manage page. Select the cog icon to reveal a drop-down menu, then click "Close". This will close all the audiences in that wave. You can re-open closed waves using the same drop-down menu.

Closing and Re-opening Audiences

If you want to close an individual audience, go to the Manage page and click on the audience you wish to close. On the right side of the page, you'll see the targeting you've selected. Click the three dots at the top of the page (next to the status) to reveal an option to "Close". You can re-open closed audiences using the same menu.

This will pause responses for this survey until you are ready to re-open it or permanently if you have received enough responses.

You can’t edit a live survey, even if it’s paused. If you want to make changes to the survey, you need to duplicate it and purchase it again. If you close a survey purchased with credits before you start receiving answers, you can get in touch with our Customer Team and they will be able to refund those credits to your account.

If you want to re-open a survey that has been closed, simply click on the three dots again and click Re-Open Survey. This will allow the survey to begin receiving responses again.

Closing a survey is a helpful tool if your project is time sensitive and you wish to close a survey before it collected all the responses or you spot a mistake that you wish to correct.
